The metal silicon differs in different types: 99.99, 99.999, 99.9999, 2202, 3303, 411, 421, 441 and 553. While the types with the highest percentage of silicon are commercially called "high grade" or "high purity", the others are defined as "standard". On the market there are different manufacturers and brands, the format is in blocks of different sizes: 10-50mm, 10-100mm, 50-100mm. The standard commercial lot is 25 tons. The metal silicon is packed in bags (about 1 ton each), always accompanied by chemical analysis certificates.
